What Engines Shift Shaft Will Fit:
Shift Shaft fits only Yamaha 115 - 225 hp outboard engines made in the years 1984 - 1996.
Unfortunately, we do not produce a Shift Shaft that will fit an 85 or 90 hp engine or for engines manufactured after 1996.
Shift Shaft Comes In Two Lengths:
Shift Shaft comes in two lengths, Short and Long.
The price for either is the same, $289 US. This price includes FedEx Ground shipping to the 48 contiguous United States. If you live outside the 48 contiguous United States or Internationally, please read the information to the immediate right of this text box.
To determine if you need a:
Short, which is 21.5", or approx. 55 cm in length
Long, which is 26.5", or approx. 67 cm in length
You can do the following:
1) Look at the metal plaque located above the engine mount. You may see a series of letters and numbers.
If you see a TL in that series, you need a Short.
If you see a TX in that series, you need a Long.
2) You can also remove the engine cover. Locate the top of the current shift rod and measure the top of the arm underneath the carburetor down to the top of the lower gear case.
If it's approximately 20.5" or 53 cm, you will need a Short.
If it's approximately 24.5" or 62 cm, you will need a Long.

The $289 price includes FedEx Ground shipping to any of the 48 contiguous Unites States.
We are based in California and it typically takes five business days for a shipment to reach the East Coast.

When we determine the shipping fee you can send the entire amount via PayPal to our account.
Once you place your order, you will also need to provide a local phone number for FedEx.
You will be responsible for any Custom or Duty taxes.
